I have just truly discovered MyAnimations dances. They are extremely varied and the latin dances are just perfect, this is one of many cha cha cha variations, all full of grace. 

I, Alexandra's background controller, will be going to the US for a couple of weeks, arriving in Florida on election night! But won't bring any computer, so there will be no posts from me till late November.

Catching up in Royalblue on Wings of Ghostly White

Never got around to doing the Royal blue post for Luna Jubilee's blog challenge. I was trying to put something together for that, starting with a blue dress, when suddenly it was time for the Ghostly White post. So I combined the two on a background of autumnal colors, dancing in the sky, flapping my  wings and letting the hair loose in the dramatic wind. If this is an angel, I think it is an angel of doom.

Cosmic in a Bottle

Cosmic is a color! Really? That's what Luna Jubilee says it is for her Colour Challenge this week - and it looks something like this:

I thought the best place to have a look at theCosmic of the Cosmos would be from a flying bottle. Made by Trompe L'Oeil and to be found at this month's Collabor 88. There are many, many , many poses in this gem of a room.

Here I look a little despondent. Don't blame me, I'm just following the whims of the couch.

Antique Brass and 52 weeks of colour

Preparing for a party and dressed in Antique Brass for Luna's 52 week colour challenge.

A party can be physically challenging , so I went through a last minute routine of stretching and jumping:

Arty Amaranth

Before making this post with the colour Amaranth for Luna's challenge, I sat on the couch in my skybox to reflect. I looked down and lo and behold the couch was the very best approximation to Amaranth I had been able to find this week !

But anyway, I had been to a couple of interesting places in my less-than- amaranth amaranth outfits.

In the afternoon, I went to one of the LEA sims (Linden Endowments of Art). I posed in my Foppish coat in the sweet and 'naively' drawn black and white artscape by Cica Ghost . It is like a child's cartoon world.
I had not had enough of art, so I later went to the closing of  Mariaka Nishi's show about her giving birth and the thoughts about life this inspired in her, very interesting with photos and drawings.
I can't say that the colour of the jumpsuit I wore for the event is the best amaranth in the world, but it's red at least.

The show ended with a live concert played by the inimitable Ultraviolet Alter.
She always improvises, and her soundscapes slide and glide around you for an hour where you forget everything else in the world for the sheer magic of her music.
In the middle of the concert butterflies were fluttering:

After a day of reflection on a sofa, posing in a cartoon landscape and dancing in a music induced trance,  it was time to simply stand on my porch and look at the autumn leaves  (and thus getting the close up for the day):
